History

Employee Benefit Advisors is organized as an independent insurance agency licensed by the State of Ohio.  Its offices are located in Strongsville, Ohio at Pearl South Plaza, 15300 Pearl Rd.  

EBA is owned and operated by Patrick M. Platten.  Mr. Platten has worked in the employee benefits field since 1986.  He served as a representative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and since 1989, has served as an independent broker/consultant.  Mr. Platten’s focus has always been to provide a high level of service to small and medium-sized business clients.

Principal

Patrick M. Platten

Patrick is the owner of Employee Benefit Advisors Agency which he founded in August 1996.  Patrick entered the employee benefits field in 1986 as an Account Executive with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Northeast Ohio.  Subsequently, he worked as a broker for Willis, a major international insurance brokerage and consulting firm.
